My Timberland Earthkeepers Rugged Boot have served me well. Nice, thick vibram sole. Also lightweight enough that I used it for a 2 week backpacking trek around the UK and Ireland. I dabbled with the Iron Rangers, but didn't like the cork sole for winter use. I then bought the Brooks Brothers Iron Rangers 4556 w/ Vibram sole, but honestly, the Timberland suits me more aesthetically (slimmer toe-box mainly) and is a lighter boot. As for durability, it's been a year and they're great (so far).
