If you're wearing dress shoes, then "Galoshes" to wear over them. (Not sure if that term is regional or not, but that's what my dad wore over his penny loafers in rain/slush.)
Maybe get leather bottoms and get some rubber overshoes for the bad weather?

Leather bottoms are dressier looking for sure.
Also, make sure you measure your feet with socks on if you are going to buy online and not try on in store.
I love my Fifths. Close to as dressy as the Parks with the small brouging strip. I’d agree they go with anything.
I have heard from others that rubber soles make the shoe stiffer.
