I use This TuneBelt because I am doing interval training now and like to be able to glance at and touch the screen if needed. Works great.

I know you stated your experiences with armbands have not been great, but have you tried the Tune Belt one? I've been looking for a Tune Belt armband, because I liked the quality of it with my old Galaxy S5 over all other armbands I've tried. The size of the V10 is close enough to the Google Nexus 6. I'm going to order the Tune Belt AB91 on Amazon, as it should fit nicely. Coupled with Bluetooth headphones this would be perfect, IMO.
