Plumber here. Do not under any circumstances pour bleach or boiling water down your drain, which will inevitably get posted here. If and when it fails to clear the clog, you've now got hazardous chemicals and boiling water sitting in a drain pipe. PVC plastic has a melting temperature between 100 and 200 degrees C. Don't take the risk of it melting through the pipe.

That said, what I do on every call is first pull the drain cover. It's either going to have a single screw you can remove, the whole thing will unscrew, or it's a two piece (hold the bottom part still and unscrew the top). They're not too hard to figure out, but if you can't get it take a picture of yours and I'll tell you how. Now, if there's hair sitting at the top of the drain it's easy. Either get one of these (I keep dozens on my truck) or just straighten out a clothes hanger and put a little hook on the end and pull all the hair. You can even get the hair out with just a pair of channel locks and a screw driver. That should clear the clog.

If the clog is further down the line you can try to use a regular plunger to push it through, or if that doesn't work you may want to call a plumber to bring out the big guns.

Hope that helps!
