I personally love the OEM Samsung headphones too but the issue i get over time is that the mic just kind of keeps falling to far away from my face when i use it for chat so i broke down and bought the Turtle Beach Recon Chat Gaming Headset and have been super pleased with them in construction, mic, and speaker quality - especially for the price

The first one I just got and haven't used, but I picked it up because a friend said it was great. It's got a cutout for glasses, if that's an issue for you.
The second one is the one I've been using for ~2 years. it's great, but it's starting to get janky. my xbox isn't recognizing a headset is connected all of the time. could be my xbox though.
Those are just the chat headsets, I've got a 5.1 surround sound system that I use for game audio.

I almost got the plantronics but I chose this one for the glasses cut-out, now I'm glad I did.
I used the turtle Beach recon open cup design for a long time https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WLGP8C3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_kgEaAbNRQAF6B and really enjoyed them. You can turn off all game audio and just hear game chat. I do use the turtle Beach Stealth 700s now, but only because I wanted something that was wireless.

worked fine for me. I have 7.1 physical speakers, so a chat-only headset was exactly what I need.
