I bought this one and it works quite fine. I use it like a portable dock whenever I go to friends' house or gf's. But it doesn't have HDMI cable altogether,
This is similar to the one I got, make sure you have a power supply though, that may be all you need to make yours work
I use this adapter and it hasn't caused any problems for me.
I bought an adapter cable that lets me do that. No need to carry a dock around. You can find it here if you want!
