We did a lot of stacking toys, building with blocks, big chunky puzzles. I like to look up skills that she can work on. Clapping, blowing bubbles and stuff like that

We spent a lot of time at the park letting her learn to climb stairs practice crawling through tubes, etc.

Blowing bubbles is always fun

Switching things up. For example: my NK has a bunch of ride on toys in the house. We take them outside and they are like new toys

Sometimes I just sit back and let her lead the way. Just in the front yard alone she will entertain herself by wondering around and touching plants, picking up rocks and more

I think she was closer to 14 months when we did these, but we have done #10 and #14 on this page: http://chicklink.com/20-activities-for-a-toddler/

(for the pom-pom one, I cut holes in the lid of a plastic cool whip container)

Painting on construction paper with water. We had no-spill cups like this: https://www.amazon.com/Art-Supply-Childrens-Colored-Plastic/dp/B01NAB50ST She actually had more fun dipping the brush in and out of the cup and stirring it around.

I have found she will enjoy the activity longer if I don't try to control it ;)
