I'm looking to buy a new mechanical keyboard, I currently have the corsair k70 with blue switches (I <3 blue switches) and I wanted to move on to a keyboard with more customization options.

I'm looking to go TKL and the two I have my eye on are the Filco Majestouch-2 - Ninja and the Ganss GS 8.7

Nothing is technically wrong with my k70 currently (other than the contrast gaming WASD keys being worn out). I'm just super jealous of all the amazing keyboards I see on here from day to day and I want to be able to swap out key caps if they wear through. Also, a huge fan of backlit keys, I don't use the ones I have on my k70, I just chose it for the brand name + reviews.

Also, I'm a gamer (mostly Smite, WoW.. etc) and a writer by trade. Keep that in mind :)

Anyway, which of these would you suggest or if there's another with a similar configuration let me know. Thanks!

Haha I was wondering if anyone was going to mention that! It's a Filco Ninja Majestouch-2 mechanical keyboard, the tenkeyless version with red switches. I'll never go back to a normal dome keyboard again. Totally worth the cost in my opinion.

Filco Majestouch, my personal favorite MX board for gaming.

Corsair K70, not as high build quality, but has a unique brushed aluminum look and is backlit.

Obviously there are more, but those are my two recommendations if price isn't an issue. Lower-end would be the Rosewill and Cooler Master Rapid keyboards.

The layout of the Filco Ninja Majestouch-2 would be close to ideal for me, but I also need the bluetooth 3.0

For that money, you may as well consider the Filco's.

Its basically up there at the top of the Cherry MX keyboards in terms of build quality and highly, highly regarded by the keyboard enthusiast groups.

It does nothing special. Its just rock solid, well built and very sleek. Comes with Ninja keys like the link, or normal keys.

I've owned a number of mechanicals, used many of the popular choices, and I will honestly say its worth googling and watching some reviews.

Comes in (at least) Red, Browns and Blues. As a nice subtle touch, the indicator LEDs on the red switched ones are red too. That's about as 'snazzy' as it gets.. :D

However, I'll point out that the price for the one I linked is actually very good. Normally they float from $150-200.

You could maybe get the Filco Majestouch 2 TKL Version

And then you could buy the Filco Pegasus Hoof Replacement Controller

I think that works out to a little more than your budget. The Majestouch 2 has options for Cherry Red or Black switches. To be honest, that's a pretty low budget for wanting a programmable board. My first suggestion would've been the KDB75v2 from KBDFans but that's outside of your stated budget.
