That's a pretty cool public domain DVD. The 27th Day is really good, I had not seen it until recently. It's got a Day the Earth Stood Still vibe. That DVD was the first release since it came out. There was no VHS release and you could only catch it on TV or cable. So not rare now but it was for a long time.

Read this IMDB Message board archive of The 27th Day, It will give a better idea of what I'm saying. It started being shown about 10 years ago on TCM. Many people had not even heard of it...
But still, 17 bucks for a 25 cent Public Domain DVD-R. No official release.
