A little info for this since I don't think IMDB has anything

>I came across this video, and having done a lot of research into graffiti, I sought out this video, and I was surprised at how Cope 2 of KD is just another guy who just loves to do what he does best; graffiti. Cope 2 is respected across the world, and he has been around since the 'golden years' of graffiti when writers like REYES, DONDI (RIP), TNT; The Nation's Top, SEEN, my girl LADY PINK, LEE, and anyone who came into the game that I forgot. Also Fat Joe, KRS-ONE who used to write with COPE 2 when they were kids when they went into the late night to the trainyards to paint trains. COPE shows his drawings, clean trains, productions, and the whole nine yards at what he does best. Also he goes out and do some throw-up's with a couple of his tagging friends, and definitely worth checking out if you want to see the master at work.

It's basically about all the bombers and their relation to Cope2/KD and the evolution of graffiti since in the early 80s. How trains and subways are less common, and how tagging/bombing is less common as styles and tools have improved, changing the game for better and for worse.

If you want to see this film, you really need to support it and not look for "free" links which you MUST know is just stolen property. These little films need your support or they won't happen any more. Then we'll be living in a world only populated by mage-studio films. And shit, I don;ty want to live in that world. Do you?

JODOROWSKY'S DUNE is coming out on North American (Region 1/A) Blu Ray / DVD / digital starting next Tues, July 8. It would be great if you could give it some love instead of showing love for dumb threads like this.

News on its release in other countries (Australia, UK, South America, Europe, etc) will be coming soon.

Thanks!

Motion picture uses visuals.

A skilled artist can use symbolism and metaphor.

Gaspar Noe has all the subtlety and nuance of Bill Clinton in a brothel.

You seem to be suggesting that film simply an't convey idas. I disagree. A film cannot get into your head the way a book can, but you can layer, reinforce and imply concepts in such a way that a audience can understand something that is not purely visual. A couple exaples that come immediately to mind are: Vertigo [1958], Ikiru [1952], 2001: Space Odyssey [1968], Metropolis [1927] and, for those who wish for something a bit more modern and 'accessible', Mean Girls [2004].

A good example of a DMT flash in the visual medium?

I get the impression that you haven't spent a lot of time on the subject. You seem to have something of a passing fancy on this. I would say that you get out of these things what you put in. By everything you've said so far you are clearly not someone who has invested much time into the subject.

Spend some time on it and maybe do some Ayahuasca.

If you enjoy feeling what it is like to live a completely different life from a non-Western perspective, you will like this film. Kurosawa based the movie on the book written by Dersu's Russian friend.

Really great science fiction film. Must see if you are a fan of the genre.

24:10 There is a similar man-eating plant scene in the film The Angry Red Planet (1959) The female character is also a redhead.

This movie is later edited and dubbed as "Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet", released in the US in 1965. This movie (and the Russian inserts) were in turn used to create "Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women" (1968).

Corman obviously recognized the 'potential' of the quality in this elaborately produced foreign space opera and attempted to capitalize upon it by adding English dubbed dialog that eliminated the original nationalistic Soviet sentiments from the plot and (awkwardly) injected some American actors into the mix to (hopefully) give more attraction for the domestic market.

Look I just sorted movies on this subreddit by top in the last week.

Number 1: The Usual Suspects

Obviously no comments about buying the film. One dude actually even provided a proxy to get past some geo-block.

Anyway googling for a legit copy gives you the google play link. Only $3 to rent and $10 to buy.

Itunes lets you own it for $15.

You can buy a hardcopy DVD from Amazon for $7.50.

The choices are there. Plus the film cost $10 million to make in 2015 dollars. Are the rights holders less deserving of income just because Louis CK put out a download on his production that cost about $60,000 to make?

There's no other reason other than Louis is loved by Reddit.

All I'm saying is, sure, chuck a legal download link in the comments somewhere. But lets not forgot we're all here for fucking piracy. Why? Because $0 is better than $5. Enough with the "give money to Louis CK because he said it was expensive to make" soapboxing.

Otherwise, stop discriminating, and tell everyone to stop pirating "and support the creators" on every movie linked here.

If you like Raymond Briggs, get 'Ethel and Ernest'.

It's heart breaking. The only graphic novel/comic book that ever made me shed a tear.

You are talking about psychopaths - and yes, its an excellent book, based on many studies, the book deals with CEO's specifically.

However, my pedantry aside, you make a fine point - it is indeed not about journalism at all, rather it is about his mental problems.

Pretty concerning that people are missing the entire thread of the movie and considering it a comment on cut throat journalism and not the portrait of a psychotic.
