Not OP but I have my monitors stacked the same way with this. Works great!

that's the one i'm using. it's good, but you have to REALLY crank everything down if you have heavy monitors

u/Chasedabigbase · 5 pointsr/ultrawidemasterrace

I've been using this one for a few months with 2 34" UWs and has worked great for me. It's nice because you can adjust the heights of them individually and slide them in place one at a time.

Requires a little muscle in tightening the closest large hex screw to the monitor so they don't sag but have stayed in position ever since. I'd recommend tightening that as much as possible before you mount it on the pole lol. Has been my favorite orientation now and will likely stick with it for awhile, I'm sure you will too!

One of the reviews even shows it with a 29" over a 34" so you can see approx. how yours would look (: GL!

I have this one for my both my 29’s ultrawides, it supports 17 pounds for each mount if I can remember VIVO Dual LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Heavy Duty Stacked, Holds Vertical 2 Screens up to 27" (STAND-V002T) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DGTP57A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Mmq5Ab7X1BRBP

Something like this one?

u/mscire2 · 4 pointsr/battlestations

This is the mount. I cant complain too much for the price but i had to make a slight tweak to it to get the vertical tilt adjustments tight enough the screens wouldn't tilt down under their own weight.

I had a setup like that before. It was with two separate mounts though. One was a dual, vertical mount. The other was a regular desk mount.

Thanks! I spend most days here, so I strive to make it a place I enjoy.

Desk is from World Market. It looks like they have a 40% off deal going on right now!

Ultrawide is the Dell Alienware AW3418DW.

Top monitor is a dell 4k 27" I bought a few years ago. Great color reproduction.

hers is bolted to the desk. that one i purchased specifically cause it comes with a clamp and a grommet. mine is also bolted into the desk link for mine

I currently am using this for the mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DGTP57A?ref%5F=oh%5Faui%5Fsearch%5Fdetailpage&redirect=true&psc=1&pldnSite=1 and I like it a lot!

And as far as getting the 16:9 screen right use this site: http://www.displaywars.com/29-inch-21x9-vs-27-inch-16x9
It's super useful at making things easy as far as getting the right setup!

u/BrussKnackles · 2 pointsr/battlestations

I used to use a stack monitor pole that clamped to the desk. It's this mount.

u/stillUnproductive · 2 pointsr/battlestations

I find stacking works with better with an ultra wide setup. I have a 34um95 and found anything to the left or right was too far outside my peripheral vision to use for watching movies and playing games at the same time. I stacked a cheap 27inch 16:9 tilted down on top of the 34 inch using this mount: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00DGU92DM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

It has gone up in a price a little since I bought it but there is also a cheaper version that lets you mount the stand directly to the desk with out drilling holes in it here: http://www.amazon.ca/Monitor-Stacked-Vertical-Screens-VIVO/dp/B00DGTP57A/ref=pd_cp_ce_1

I haven't posted it yet because the room is being renovated but here is a phone pic from when I first set it up: http://i.imgur.com/uocoR8h.jpg

A lot of people on /r/ultrawidemasterrace seem to be using this mount.

I'm using a similar one with a different type of clamp in my setup here: https://i.sli.mg/F3SWSA.jpg

u/penfist · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

I use this mount. It's solid as a rock.

u/thebadgeek · 1 pointr/battlestations

The 27" (bottom), it's just on the original monitor stand. The top one is using a tall VIVO pole with a longer arm (rather than the short ones it came with) to have it align. I added the link for the stand below.

I use that, I put two of them on there and it works great, Good adjust ability. They have a single monitor one but its only 5 dollars less so I would probably opt for this one just in case you get another monitor?

Either way the stand works well and havent had any problems with it, easy install too.

u/beefstewhoff · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Thanks! I just got the g502 mouse, but I can't decide which pad to get, so it's always nice to see what others use.

I really like them stacked so far. I don't have a massive desk like you, so I don't have much of a choice, but it's nice to have a TV show and email/messenger up on the top screen while I game/browse. Here's my set-up. I'll probably post some nicer pictures to this sub when I stop being lazy.

Edit: for anyone interested, this is the monitor stand I'm using. I was cautiously optimistic while getting it, but I can confirm this thing is build like a TANK. Very, very sturdy but also easy to install.

u/ataraxy · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Not specifically but here's one that's probably identical:

u/LulzWillBeHad · 1 pointr/battlestations

u/Ted_Ruxpin · 1 pointr/battlestations

VIVO dual vertical mount (... I think they have newer models now, but what I have:

u/coreyb3 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DGTP57A/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I can honestly say that it doesn't work well for the X34 that I have on the bottom. Sure it isn't breaking, it is "holding" it... but it sags a bit and will not stay completely straight.

u/bbluech · 1 pointr/battlestations

The back of the desk is beveled and I just used this mount clipped onto the desk

u/CrainBramp · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

The top monitor is one of the BenQ GW2765HT (1440p) 27" monitors left over from when I was running three of those. My [prior setup] (http://arandombox.com/don-desktop.jpg) The stand is a [VIVO STAND-V002T] (http://amzn.to/291hLMe) Works perfectly and is plenty strong enough. This is the version with two screws on the clamp instead of one for added stability.

u/emalk4y · 1 pointr/AskBattlestations

I used this to mount a 27" ASUS PB278Q and 24" VE247H. I've also used the 27" without a mount with the 24" mounted above it with good results. Quite adjustable and affordable. It didn't move or slip in the time I had it (I switched desks so no longer use it). 34" is same vertical length as 27" so it should work great.

u/BirdofNight · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

yes I do. I've used two different units:

http://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Stacked-Vertical-STAND-V002T/dp/B00DGTP57A/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1452899953&sr=8-16&keywords=vivo+dual+monitor+stand

The second one is a lot more sturdy, but its not quite tall enough for me to use when I'm in standing desk mode. I used the vivo dual as a single and just put the monitor a little above middle. its working pretty well (just mounted it today)

u/BoobieRyan · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

DUDE. you are my hero.

This was the exact monitor stand I was looking at, in the same setup. I think I'm going to bite on that 25" UW. You are the freakin' best. Thanks x1000. Also, we have the same keyboard. And same mic setup. Are you me?

EDIT: I'm thinking of this one because the base is a bit big for my tastes. Do you think it would support both?

u/FracturedAtom · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Gotcha. Do you feel like the angle of the top screen is enough to accommodate comfort? Any chance you could get some shots from the side of the setup?

Also seeing that VIVO has a "Heavy Duty" version of this stand, where the tilt LOOKS like it would wider angle, though it appears to state +/-15 vs the other having +/-45. (Seems weird.) Also provides a little extra height I could play with, and then hacksaw off excess if it extends way too high

It's okay. I wish the pole were taller. I wanted the monitors to go even higher. I have a lot of extra room in the C clamp, so I might put a wood block on top of the desk and mount it to that to get an extra two or three inches of height.
