Ok, firstly, I would call up your credit card company and see that if you bought the Epson 5040UBE (adds wireless HDMI) for $2800 from Amazon if they will price protect it against the $2600 from CliffsDeals or the $2500 from TvSuperStores. I wouldn't buy from them as they don't have a good reputation. If your card company wont refund you the difference, just get the regular 5040UB.

Second, if you just want a normal 120" screen, that'll run you $300.

For a better picture (better blacks), if you just want to staple a screen to a wall (that was meant for it, with a staple gun, which you could rent from HomeDepot), you could get Carl's ProGray for $85, it produces about 145", so a little less if you don't want to project onto where the staples are (shouldn't make a difference though if you wanted to project onto it all). Or, if you want build a screen for cheap, you can get Carls FlexiGray for $90. the guy in the video made it 147".

Let's say you mounted the projector at a height of 8ft 6in. For the ~144" stapled screen, the projector should be mounted around 14ft 6in (14ft 3in being the closest), and if you have guests that are 6ft tall, they would have to be 10ft or closer to the wall for it to block the projector, with that 10ft being at the very bottom edge of the screen, and it's even less of a concern when playing letterboxed movies. For the 147" mounted screen, that changes to about 14ft 8in-15ft away (have to account for the screen being slightly closer than the wall), and your 6ft guests being 10ft 7in or closer.
