Sure, something like this should work. An 18mm strap that starts out wider after the lugs should preserve the tapering effect rather than just coming out straight from the case. Hadley-Roma should have a similar rubber strap, some Clockwork Synergy straps start at 20mm after the lugs, and a variety of straps come out from the search phrase "timex expedition 18mm strap" at Amazon.

You can usually find them at Walmart. I really like how the band extends out past the inside of the lugs then tapers down.
I love mine, it's a weird inexpensive little watch that is great for many different occasions. I threw mine on this strap and think it looks awesome, very classy retro-cyber vibe. I'd post a picture of mine but I'm at work currently.
It says it's for one of the Timex Expedition watches but I saw a guy on YouTube get one for the Casio World time and it works great mainly because its cut wider near the lugs.
