Believe it or not, retail establishments have been taking cash for centuries. And for centuries, robbery has been an issue. Thankfully, a solution has been found, the Drop Safe.

All retail establishments have rules about handling cash. Usually, cashiers are required to make drops in the drop safe periodically, depending on how busy. They write out a drop receipt and put one copy in the drawer and one with the money, then boom, drop it in the safe. This limits the liability to the store owner.
