If you're worried about branding then you can pickup a 240GB Western Digital Green SSD for £33.45 from Amazon too.

Edit: Note, I've only suggested the drive on price point not performing factors. Both have SLC caching. Always do your research before buying!

hey man, using pop os every time with a live usb is a very daunting task you cannot save your files in "try mode" of pop os or for a matter of fact for any linux distro try mode you can only save files as long as the machine is booted using the usb and once you shutdown or even if your battery drains out and your laptop goes off all your settings and files will vanish and you need to set up every thing from scratch that is boot in using usb and install each and everything that you did last time.

Instead buy this 240GB WD GREEN SSD it just costs $40 or you also have 120GB option which is around $15-$20 install that in your note book instead and use it, and you can also dual boot the using the 240GB

I forgot about what the SSD and HDD. The SSD it came with is WD Green 240GB Internal PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s which I know nothing about SSD but I know this isn't near the good mark, and a WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache just like SSD I dont know whats consider a good HDD, I plan to invest into a 1TB or 2TB SSD and learn how to transfer everything from HDD to that SSD. I've never really done anything in BIOs so would need to look up vids and such for that. Will overclocking the CPU (if it offers it) or GPU harm the lifespan of it or not a noticeable difference? Never have done any OC before so just curious of downsides. I appreciate the reply and tips!

yup! i do not reside in the States :) where i am, i'm getting this ssd for around 40 USD, and a SATA to USB C cable for 18 USD. fixed my iMac without waiting in queues and playing customer service tennis. and yes you're right about removing the screen, since apple has become more stringent with their "you shall not upgrade your computer" policy :)

Limit thing is kinda problem as I do loads of downloading, copying, moving, etc.

Copying manually do seems faster as creating image will take time and can't be updated.

amazon ssd wd --- What about this one? and this -- amazon choice kingston

also why should I pick this despite 2k difference -- amazon samsung
