I'm aware, but he also said he makes it at his house, which is why I find the comment "8 shots of blonde espresso" to be suspect. Other brands have also jumped on the bandwagon and market their beans as "blonde espresso" now.
I was being generous and assuming "8 shots" referred to the traditional single ounce shot, even though basically everybody makes a double now. If it's 8 double shots, that's like 5 ounces of coffee beans every morning for a single drink.
I'm a bit of a coffee enthusiast, so his story just set off some bullshit detectors. Or at least someone who doesn't really know anything about coffee.
