Wotokoi, Love is hard for Otaku sees our protagonists hook up at the end of the first episode, and then the entire rest of the season is them just being in a relationship. They're both working adults in japan, who are kinda geeky, and they're just trying to get through the working day so they can hang out and play monster hunter after work. I should have recommended it first, but completely forgot about it until Just now. THAT'S what you're probably looking for.

And Recovery of an MMO Junkie which came out the same season, is likewise wholesome happy romance. If you've ever played an MMO (or dated someone through the internet) There is a lot of relatable stuff in here. Also a relationship between adults. There are some times when I thought for sure they were gonna pull classic "will they won't they" romcom bullshit and I was gonna have to kill someone, but actually people do talk about their feelings and things progress surprisingly realistically. Good show.
