you can attempt a tear down of the left joycon. plenty of youtube videos showing how and attempt to clean it.

and if its not "dirty" for like 3 dollars you can actually replace the actuation button for ZL if its the button that's faulty. its just a little tiny PCB on a ribbon cable.
