I can relate to this. Someone also linked this book to understand yourself better: https://www.amazon.com/You-Your-Gender-Identity-Discovery-ebook/dp/B01N80JO4W/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=

I did have a look into the preview they have and feel like the quotes they have about the childhood before puberty are not things I've had at all. The wish to have a woman's body only started with puberty but I never thought I should be a woman. So that's why I think I'm probably cis.

Secondly I feel like why should I transition when in my age I wouldn't be able to pass anyway. It feels like I would just make my life harder for me.

I'm reading You and Your Gender Identity: A Guide to Discovery. I bought this today.

I'm questioning MtF .... today I just epilated my leg hair. I've had it most of my life I've always hated it, and ... the skin without the hair feels fucking amazing. It feels like how I would want my body to feel. It's a surreal feeling.

I've always been jealous of ladies being able to shave the leg hair, so I went and did it.

I think this is a good small step today. I think if the step feels good, it's a good direction to go in.

I made my cis/trans list. You have two columns, reasons you think you are cis and reasons you think you are trans.

For me: Cis - 4, Trans - 43.

I don't feel trans, but ... admittedly I don't know what it would feel like, it might feel exactly like this. What I am allowing myself to do, which I never allow myself to do is have the fantasy and allow the possibility that ... I could ... transition.

In the end, only you can determine what your gender identity is, but there's a book that I've recommended many times, both here at Reddit and on Facebook. You and Your Gender Identity by Dara Hoffman-Fox. This book was a life-changer for me, it helped me to finally break through my denial and my confusion, and say loud and clear that I'm a trans woman. There are many other gender identities, and this book will help you determine how you define yourself.
