  1. swedespeed.com like /u/patricknderr mentioned and there's also matt's volvo site which has some how-tos that complement swedespeed's. There's also some good videos from fcpeuro and ipdusa on youtube.

  2. When it came time to replace mine, I was also tempted to go with the cheap ones, but went with a bosch unit from autozone both because I wouldn't trust the cheap ones and becasue it was a bit of a shot in the dark to see if it cleared the code I was getting.

  3. I also have this question, my car only came with a non-fob key and would like to be able to remote-open it, but... I'm not sure if this ability is really $100+

  4. I have the V70 version, same year and model and it comes with CD/Cassette so that's how I do my line-in. I've seen an iphone adapter being sold from IPD (www.ipdusa.com) it's on the expensive side, but you'll be able to keep te stock head if that matters

  5. Like others have said, thermostat, just be aware that you'll need a T-40, I think and as mentioned on most forums, those bolts will be rusted on. Patience, penetrating oil and small impacts are your friends. Also, if replenishing the antifreeze, use volvo fluid or this stuff that's supposed to be equivalent and safe

That's what I use. I think you can buy it pre-mixed 50/50 also, but if not it is easy enough to do.

The OP specifically asked for coolant available in the UK. I'm not sure Zerex is there.

But there are huge discussions about the suitability or not of Prestone or Zerex. I've pretty much just decided that when I do my coolant system flush next that I am going back to OEM. I think I have a clogged heater core as a result of using Zerek the past 30,000 miles.
