One idea I had was to essentially fix a black tarp on the inside, like a big waterproof bag where everything can be stored. That way the rain will drain around it. Unsure how that'll look from the outside but it could be a solid solution.

Edit: something like this seems like it might be the best path forward. A same-size bag with a zipper that I can use to waterproof the items inside the storage container.

carpet looks dope in that room.

Depending on how much room you have, a bench or hope chest with a cushion at the bottom of the bed on top to sit on.

I would consider floating end tables in white and a mounted light source, and thin black framed picture frames with lots of whitespace for the walls.

For bedding I would go with a pattern that picks up on colors in the floor and accent with pillows that have a bit of red in them and finding art that compliments them for the art mentioned above.

It also appears that you have enough wall space to pull something the black tree wall treatment here.

I used to have a manasan loveseat https://www.amazon.com/Blazing-Needles-Double-Papasan-Cushion/dp/B00EFA9GHY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=Mamasan+Chair&qid=1574109328&sr=8-1 waayyy before I began vanlife. It was an absolute dream to sleep in 🌃 When I was in my vanlife planning phase, my build included one. Then I bought George & will probably be keeping his rear folding sofa/bench seat

Not really the best mini for havung backseat passengers. (Thats the hole reason i bought a clubman!)

Id recommend getting one of tjoose cusshions that people tie to plastic chairs in events. The ones with two little stings on the back.

Get it upholsteeed in black leather or cloth, and sew a MINI badge on it. It would look factory. Then tie one to the two anchor hooks on the bottom of each seat.

It would be the only option without having to re-do the seats with a foam/spring core, memory foamed topped.

The closest I've found is this but it is meant to sit on the ground and has armrests

I sleep with a single soft blanket a stuffed toy and one of these to help me relax and sometimes use a fan but the noise has to be low as I freak out if not in complete silence.
