Zotac 1070 mini (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500408)

and the

ASUS Turbo blower card dealio (https://www.amazon.ca/GeForce-Turbo-Ready-Graphic-TURBO-GTX1070-8G/dp/B01IPVTHL8)

The Aorus ones are amazing though! I've have liquid cooled cards run hotter than these. If you're interested in either of those two, I'm gonna bring these because I'm sure in person it'd change your mind. Lol. The Blower cards are going fairly fast, I only have 3 of those ones left atm.

144 is far superior than high graphics over 60fps in fps games like reflex, quake, dusk, overwatch, etc

so as far as that, you cant go back to 60 so becareful with that choice. if you gpu dies and youre on integrated for awhile until replacement, youre gonna kill yourself looking at 60fps. as far as colors and stuff, i mean its a modern monitor. looks just fine. bright, clear bla bla all that youd expect.

dont think any 144hz for $350 is better than another for $200. theyre all the same, just brand loyalty drives people to stupid stuff. just think 144 > 60 because anything modern is 144 and its a nice image. for $150, this and my $15 mousepad that i got https://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-Kaliber-Gaming-Professional-GGMM1/dp/B01J08F89U are my personal two greatest upgrades to an enjoyable experience. im in canada but thats the mousepad anyways. i got the 15in by 11in or thereabouts ("large").

that guy selling his 144hz for $280 is a goddamn joke. why because its 27 inch? mine is 24inch and its pushing too big for 1080p. going 27in will have jagged edges galore and it will NOT look nice at all. his monitor should be LESS money becuase its a poorer visual experience. dont buy his $280. 24 inch 1080 is about max you should go size wise.

Did we just become friends? I'm in mississauga, looking for a 144hz 1080p Monitor too!

This a great monitor, I use it frequently.

Well the HyperX ones are brand new on Amazon for $32. Funny you posted this when you did because I literally ordered them like 15 minutes ago

I bought the Tomoko mechanical keyboard off of Amazon. Order total came to $47.99, wasn't charged HST on it for whatever reason.

Overall it's a decent keyboard honestly, leaps and bounds better than the logitech membrane board I had before. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

this is the one I bought

https://www.amazon.ca/D-Link-Wireless-Tri-Band-Gigabit-SmartConnect/dp/B00PVCW7TE

I have 2 of them, one in box, one opened but unused, ballpark on what a fair but good price would be.

Being offered a BNIB RTX 2070 for $500 flat is it a great deal? This model here: https://www.amazon.ca/Gigabyte-Graphics-Windforce-GV-N2070GAMING-OC-8GC/dp/B07JC1TM5V/ref=sr_1_5keywords=rtx+2070&qid=1564789127&s=gateway&sr=8-5

I play on 1440p 144hz with a 1070ti rn and was gonna wait for the aib 5700xt or a 1080ti used deal.

Unfortunately I don't have what you're looking for, but I do have a recommendation. If you have any use for a compact usbc amp/dac, I highly suggest the [hidizs sonata](http://www.HIDIZS.com/ Portable Headphone Amplifier Type C USB DAC Headphone Amp for Android Smartphone and Laptop(Mark II) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07F2DTTGT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zNu8CbMYBQ285)

I picked this up a few weeks ago and absolutely love it.

Cat 6 Ethernet Cable 50ft White (at a Cat5e Price but Higher Bandwidth) Flat Internet Network Cables - Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable - Cat6 Computer LAN Cable Short with Snagless RJ45 Connectors https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B017P34WZI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9EgXCbPQMN1R2

15 dollars on amazon for a 50 foot cat 6 .

Alternatively you could go with a Powerline adapter

D-LINK PowerLine AV2 1000 Gigabit Network Kit, incl. 2 Adapters (DHP-601AV) (Renewed) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07HYFRHMD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9FgXCbFTSY6FD

Which would get you more consistent/higher speeds then wifi

Just a thought if you hadn’t considered

Cheers

as well as an MSI Z170-A Pro MOBO same usage with original packaging
and a 7-day old Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Reds and Blue backlighting, original packaging.

I live south of Montreal in the countryside but if your willing to pay in cash i don't mind driving my untouched Gigabyte G1 gaming gtx 1070.

at the time of writing this it's over $700 on amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01H0WU884/?tag=pcp0f-20) but all i'll ask for is a flexible $550

PIC: https://imgur.com/mtM5TsV (its a month old picture from last time i tried to sell it but the fact Im willing to drive it over and give it to you in person should prove authenticity)

u/momax_powers · 1 pointr/CanadianHardwareSwap

I know you said no off brand stuff but these fans are pretty sweet and they come with a control hub that you plug 5 PWM fans and 5 ARGB fans/strips into that can also be synced with m/b.

For brand name

Deepcool - $60 no tax

u/rugerty100 · 1 pointr/CanadianHardwareSwap

It's a relatively useful relevant product that significantly dropped in price recently.

It'll be difficult to find a good deal for one used.

Keep an eye out for sales like the XPG SX8200 Pro for $219.99 (no tax)

u/mellowbeatsfriend · 6 pointsr/CanadianHardwareSwap

i think you can get some new for those prices, check /r/bapcsalescanada
