I found this book to be helpful at least as a reference. It certainly won't be all encompassing but it will give you a good idea. I highly recommend starting a trial tenant and following along in the book.
We had the 8800 Trio with the Visual + units and I was worried we'd have to get rid of it to prep for the Teams move, but using an HP Slice ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JX1Z5Z9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) provisioned with the new Meeting Rooms license works very well with the 8800 and the camera. The Visual + module is the only piece that isn't used. No one has to sign in, and it's always on. People who want to share screens hook up to an HDMI cable and share right through the tablet to the meetings, and the 8800 serves as the audio for everything. If a user just wants to dial out, you just have to provision the room account with a phone number, and a dial keypad option will appear on the tablet.
What you heard about books has no relevance to if the test is worth taking.
If getting the cert is important to you, then yes it's important to take the test. Only you can answer that question depending on your skills, current job, and career goals.
If you're not confident that printed book material is current with the ever changing Office 365 landscape (as I was, especially when I saw the low ratings for the official study guide on Amazon), then I recommend online study guides which are easier to keep current.
I've had good luck with this on my iPad Air: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CIZWMBU I can test it for you with the Word 365 draw function and let you know.
You can buy small USB roll printers and they will come with the software / templates you need.
Something like this:

This is probably the simplest solution.
At least upgrade. And then buy an SSD and migrate to that. The improvement in going to an SSD will be noticable.
You can pick up a 500GB SSD for 75 bucks if you're in the US.

It’s that cheap because it’s the older version of the book. Here’s the newest that was just released last month: https://www.amazon.com/Office-365-Dummies-Computer-Tech/dp/1119513359/ref=dp_ob_title_bk
This one.

Hi,
I don't mean to be rude, but you are cheating by using dumps. Accessing and using dumps to study for exams are illegal and in fact, you can be banned from taking certification exams ever again.
The reason you are seeing questions that aren't in the dumps, because Microsoft knows what questions are in the dumps and have been using data analysis in their test centers to figure out where dumps are coming from and who is using them... because of this, Microsoft has many versions of each exam.
My advice to you is to stop using dumps. Not just because it's illegal, but it doesn't prove anything if you can just memorize questions. My true advice is to keep using the software and learn it by doing... you aren't helping yourself or helping others by using dumps. There are also plenty of other resources (books, online trainings) that will help you pass the exam.
