If you're going to get a monitor get one with the best refresh rate (measured in hertz) you can afford. I have 2 different monitors

The 1080 I use has 144hz and I use this for pc gaming as 144hz vs 60hz is a huge difference with kb/m

I use this with my Xbox one X

Id say 60hz is plenty for console gaming and the 4k looks better but on pc the 144hz 1080>60hz 4k.

When I picked these up two years ago 4k 144hz monitors were like 1000$ and didn't want to spend that much for a monitor they may have dropped in price I'm not sure. If you can afford that that's probably you're best option.

Personally I use my own external 120mm External Fans. AC Infinity Dual fans these are quiet and plug directly into USB on xbox or you can use a a usb brick. I realize you shouldn't be forced to fix this yourself but I use these on my router, modem, AV Receiver and desktop amps. Well worth the price. I've had some success with cheaper fans also w/ rgb but would say these have been the most reliable.

Use to have these but recommend getting this for it. Mic is sensitive and you might wanna play with the volume, in the settings sometimes party chat would be louder than game sound.

This HyperX is rad. Bought it about 3 months ago, great price and it works really well. In hindsight, I think I’d spend a few more bucks and get something with Bluetooth, but it’s great.

There’s an attachment from Xbox that gives you this ability I believe. It’s necessary for old Xbox One controllers that didn’t have a headphone jack but should work on the newer controllers. (I don’t have one, but I think that’s what it’s for)
