I didn't recommend the Retro Bit Saturn controllers because of breaking dpad issues. If you can source an original Saturn controller (version 2 or japanese model) and use an adapter, you should be good to go. I have the blue genesis pad above, good times. Genesis controllers are easier to hold for me.

If you're interested in the TE2 stick but want to also save a few bucks , the TES sticks are basically the same thing internally but without the quick opening front panel. It can still be removed but just with an allen wrench. Amazon Link

Get a MOCA adapter if you have a coax (cable) connector in the room. Most ISP’s routers support MOCA. (Comcast, Spectrum, COX) in my experience so far. It’s very close to Ethernet speeds. Better than WiFi and EOP for sure.

MOCAadapter$69

Power line is trash, high amperage loads on the same breaker will make you lag, like when momma makes those dank ass pizza bites in the microwave.

Bulk Dank Pizza bites $82

Clear choice

But if you're just going to download it, whatever man.

Best to wait for the EX version after Fated Retribution is out, though.

Buy a pair of PowerLine adapters. Thank me later.

They convert an Ethernet cable to run over your home's electrical wiring, and then convert it back to an Ethernet cable on the other side.

The link I dropped is the set I use, they work great without any lag and there is no noticable difference from using a hardwired Ethernet connection. You get two adapters and two ethenet cables for $60.

If you want to try it I have seen a few people play on xbox using a playstation pad through a converter like this one

Just check Tekken's requirements:

  • Minimum: Processor: Intel Core Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz or equivalent

    Memory: 6 GB of RAM

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 750Ti 2GB, or equivalent

  • Recommended: Processor: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5 GHz or equivalent

    Memory: 8 GB of RAM

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 equivalent or higher

Based on those, you can look up Laptops that fit your need.

To answer your question tho', The Lenovo has a 960m while the MSI has a 950m so the Lenovo would perform better.

I'd also like to recommend that you check out newer laptops with the new architecture for graphics card since they're more future and of course faster than olders, but I don't know your budget. An example would be this.

I did basically the same thing except with a bamboo tea box from amazon

It is a little bit smaller but I can fit my palms on it for when I want to rest, which is all I really need the size for:

Camelbak is where it's at, not the backpack one but the regular 1L bottle.

You don't have to fuck around with a cap every time you wanna drink, just quickly grab it and take a swig through the straw. Plus they're fucking indestructible.

As I'm in Europe, it's been pretty hard looking for a fightstick.
I've been reading your recomendations and I came across this one:
https://www.amazon.de/Real-Arcade-Pro-Premium-VLX/dp/B00ZUNOROC/ref=pd_cart_vw_2_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2YETF8J9E1WCY923611B

what do you guys have to say about it?

u/Dreshi · 1 pointr/Tekken

You can't buy them trough their own website but through amazon. Here is a link https://www.amazon.co.uk/Venom-Multi-Format-8-Button-Arcade/dp/B072MQC3ZX/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1497135584&sr=8-3&keywords=venom+arcade+fightstick

Edit: I saw you asking about modding the stick, and its really simple the only thing is with the Venom(atleast the PS version) you need to get another connector for the joystick which are really cheap.

Instead of getting a sound card just get a DAC.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KVVX2QW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Much much much better sound and analog volume controls.

I bought the stick as well he was selling 12 sticks as a new seller from Texas, USA all gone within 24 hrs. The Item has been dispatched.

This stick Hori Arcade Stick VLX retails for $300 here is the proof https://www.amazon.com/Arcade-Premium-Fighting-Stick-PlayStation-Licensed/dp/B015HAKX36/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499096208&sr=8-1&keywords=hori%2Barcade%2Bstick%2Bvlx&th=1 so either the seller is dumb or he is false advertising.

Anyway I'm sure Amazon are tough against cases like this.
