I’ve heard Babelash is good. I’m asking for it for my bday, so I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe someone here can chime in on it.

Has he already read the Diary of a Wimpy kid series? My son is a year older than yours. He loved Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Here are a few series books kids that like Magic Treehouse might also like:

Stink Series
Jack Stalwart
Artemis Fowl ( also a graphic novel series)
A to Z Mysteries
The Lemonade Wars
The Lemony Snickett Series of Unfortunate Events
Anything by Louis Sachar

This list could go on to eternity. Basically you can search google with any of his favorites and add the keywords “Read Alikes” and find lists.

What about D-Mannose

ETA- I read about this supplement here on Reddit somewhere and saved it on my Amazon wishlist. I don't get UTIs often. Only two in the past 15 years...so there it remains, on my Amazon wishlist. Lol.

Edit 2- I just remembered why I added it! I bought it to add to my cats' food since I have one cat that is prone to UTIs and a boy, who by default would be prone to them. Adding the powder version to my cart now.

Also, would "cats' " be right if I'm talking about multiple cats of mine? Or would I just say cats? Halp!

Right before I got out of Young Living I was tempted to start the Lucy Libido classes, which is some hun who wrote a book about essential oils for sex. Now let me preface by saying that I was making $7 a month on my “business” and was looking for other ways to “grow” because it was “my own fault” that I wasn’t “rich” from this scam.

Anyhoozle, I asked my OBGYN about it because the best way to lose your sex drive as a woman is to have your lady bits taken out thus putting said woman into surgical menopause... yuck. So I was super curious as to how to help my libido (whose name is NOT Lucy btw). Well my OBGYN (will never need the OB part again) immediately was like “DONT EVER PUT ESSENTIAL OILS DOWN THERE!” And I was all “I didnt I swear!” Like a kid who was thinking about doing something wrong but got caught in advance of doing it.

So since my OBGYN went to many years of medical school and is one of the smartest people on the planet I trust her opinion way more than some hunbot who got bored in her marriage and her business started to fail so she wrote a book about how oils “saved her marriage slash sex life.”

You want to know what saved my marriage slash sex life? Quitting Young Living. Thats right me and my DH have been better in the last couple of months of no YL/MLM BS than we have been in the last couple of years when I was peddling oils.

But that’s just my opinion.....

Edit: added some quotation marks around sarcastic things.

Olfa is pretty good for regular shears. Don't come apart tho.

Or you can get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/All-Clad-C3220908-Stainless-Kitchen-Shears/dp/B00MCJ35LI/ref=sr_1_7?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1523698470&sr=1-7&keywords=shears+stainless

The cutco ones are $140. You can try out a bunch of different shears for that money.

Or how about an aluminum free deodorant that actually works like a dream and lasts forever? Seriously this one bottle has lasted me like 2 years.

What about Amazon? These are really well-reviewed and super cheap. I've never really bought shoes this cheap, but I've had them on my wish list to try for some time! They are so cute and apparently are comfy! I bet you could add a foot cushion on the bottom and they wouldn't feel too flimsy.

Wait. Are things like these okay though?

Because seriously these help my stomach like nothing else can.

Nah, I use those, too! Use whatever works. Fountain pens aren't even necessarily grown up pens, just pens with a different feel and a bit more maintenance. But if you ever do feel like trying out a fountain pen, the Platinum Preppy pens start at under $10, and you can't go wrong with a Pilot Metropolitan, which run about $15 and you can get at Staples or Amazon. You can even get converters for both so you can use your choice of bottled ink (there's TONS, including neon/super bright inks)!

It's these! I can fit my phablet size phone inside pretty well. An id, key, and debit card would be extra comfy in the pocket.

u/mercurly · 6 pointsr/antiMLM

Yup. Especially for long car rides.

If anyone else is looking for a good daily face sunscreen, this SPF 55 from Neutrogena has been great for my Irish skin.

Heroine Make Mascara is super popular, it's made for short Asian lashes. I think Ulta sells it for more.

I absolutely love reading these types of crazy Christian things. I need to get a copy of this. I’m sure it’s entertaining.

You can usually find stuff from Winco and similar suppliers like https://www.amazon.com/Winco-KFP-80-Chefs-8-Inch-Stainless/dp/B00C0N782I in restaurant supply stores. I would recommend the rubberized handles, though.

I've always been a big fan of the Victorinox Fibrox line for budget knives. About as quality as you'll get out of stamped steel, affordable, and very durable. I literally use my Fibrox knives as hammers, ice picks, and even screwdrivers when I can't be bothered to dig my toolbox out of the closet and at worst it just takes a few extra passes on the whetstone to remove any signs of wear and tear.

They will absolutely not beat a forged blade like the Wusthof you recommend, but they don't have to - they're basically different knives for different purposes. I would probably recommend a quality forged blade for your chef's knife but everything else can and probably should just be a cheap stamped steel blade unless you're a professional and will actually be using those utility knives a lot.

If it's this product, I'd switch to plain ole castor oil. The product contains isopropyl cloprostenate, which is a synthetic compound that mimics prostaglandins, similar to the prostaglandin analogues in Latisse and other Rx lash serums. It makes me really uncomfortable to see people using stuff like this while not under supervision of a doctor.
