All it takes is the first time you can strong connections between a dream and yourself and see how speaks to your challenges and possibilities, and you're off to the races. You will want to remember your dreams and spend time thinking about them. It's a great way to reflect on yourself and plan out what's next in your life.

>when I was younger I always associated being with someone you love in a relationship as representing something very all-inclusive and wonderful about growing up.

Now we have a good idea what Shawn and Ellen represent to you. You are growing up, and more, you see your life shaping up the way you imagined. It might help you to reimagine the scenes in the dreams with Shawn and Ellen and continue the scenes. Get that kiss! Feel that love and connection. Tell them what's in your heart. Dream symbols are loaded with potential energy, and by working with the symbols in story form (in other words, continue the dream as a daydream and steer it the direction you'd most like it to go) you subconsciously set the energy in motion in your psyche. Much of the "heavy lifting" is done behind the scene, in your unconscious mind. It will translate into your waking life as more enthusiasm, energy, and insight. And ultimately, it could help you open the door to the sort of work you will find most fulfilling.

>So I wonder if there is a chance that I revert back to the boy who feels like he has to win and has to perform.

Consider that your mom is always with you in spirit. The love and encouragement and everything she gave to help you become the person you are...that's always with you. Perhaps it would help think of her presence in the dream as encouragement. She's still rooting you on, still in the stands cheering for you. She might get a kick out of knowing she's a positive figure in your dreams. Moms like to know that kind of stuff :)

I get a real boost out of coming here to help with dreams. It's part of my mission in life. I don't ask for anything in return. But if you want to give back, you can:

  1. Check out my book about dreams. Amazon recently discounted it.

  2. Sign up for my newsletter. I will use it to announce when my new book about dreams becomes available (estimated to hit bookstores in June).

  3. Check out my FB fan page.

  4. Tell your friends about me.

Most of all, take what I've given you and run with it. You are putting yourself into a position to be an influential person in this world, and perhaps if people see the benefit you get from working with your dreams, it will encourage them to do the same.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_Without_Hands

Read that fairytale (try to read an original version of the fairy tale, not just the wiki summary).

We touch with our hands; we connect to lovers, children, pets, etc. with our hands. In today's society, we are oftentimes asked to trade our ability to touch / feel, in exchange for money. This is one of the predominant myths of modern western society. The severed hands are what you are being asked to give up in exchange for silver, or efficiency, or modern convenience, etc. At minimum, the dream is asking you to be aware of any tradeoff you are being asked to make.

After you read that, read a version of the fairytale about Bluebeard's. The box in your dream is analogous to Bluebeard's closet. You discovering the severed hands in the box is analogous to Bluebeard's wife discovering the murdered bodies of his ex-wives in his locked closet.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluebeard

Again, google around to find an original version of the fairytale.

Then just meditate on these fairy tales and their possible connection to what you experienced in the dream. And then sit back and await whatever new information the unconscious will next deliver to you in a dream. That's my advice, anyway.

If this line of connecting to your dreams interest you in any way, I highly suggest the following book:

https://www.amazon.com/Fisher-King-Handless-Maiden-Understanding/dp/006250648X/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Its an easy and light read. Half of the book is dedicated to the symbolism of the "handless maiden". Its an excellent read, imo. Given that you actually dreamt about the severed hands in a box, I especially recommend it to you. I think you'll find it enlightening.

There is a book of a analyst who developed his personal form to interpretation of dreams because of a dream similar to yours. In the dream, he said to a taxi driver that he was a part of a dream he was having and the taxi driver looked back to him in contradiction and boredomness, like he was lunatic.

So he says the feelings of the taxi driver made him renew the notion he was having about dreaming, thus being an important dream. He did then developed a theory where that the dream world is real, and we can feel in our body the feelings of ourselves and also from the other characters in the dream when we are awaken and this could interfere in our awaken life.

I didn't finish it, but notions like the dream and the real world have some form of symbiose, or also an membrane that we can enter and also share with others are explored in the book. Also meditations exercises with the body on dreams and interpretation of some of his dreams.

The book is this one, if you want to look more: https://www.amazon.com/Tracks-Wilderness-Dreaming-Robert-Bosnak/dp/0385315260

Yes. Awesome. A fair amount of people get dreams like this.

Keep paying attention, because sometimes it can even help you avoid things you may want to avoid.

Read the book Dreams That Come True.

A researcher took a scientific approach to this topic.

You will definitely learn a lot and be able to apply it.

I recently started taking Dopa Mucuna, and have noticed some positive differences in non-lucid dreaming.

This supplement provides a precursor to dopamine. It's possible that only people who need dopamine support will see results with this.

During the day, I have a higher sense of mental well-being, even people around me commented on this. My dreams have been easier to remember, and somewhat more colorful.

Now - about a week after I started taking this supplement I picked up an exercise bike-I was motivated to do this partially because of my improved mental state. During the first week of taking the supplement by it's self I noticed some positive changes in my dreaming and mood, after two weeks of exercising everyday, and taking this supplement, it's like I've leveled up. I'm remembering multiple dreams every night, consistently, and my mood and energy levels during the day are elevated. I'm not new to exercise, but the last 3 years I've been stuck in a sedentary rut. These last 3 years have been mostly crap for dreaming and my dream journal reflects this. Are the supplements helping with dreaming? Probably a little bit. Getting myself into a better physical/emotional/mental state has done wonders.

Yeah, that definitely sounds like sleep paralysis - your brain is aware of what's in the room with you, and is adding freaky content on top of it...

Some people use sleep paralysis to their benefit. This is a really good guide if you're interested in learning more: https://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Paralysis-Hypnagogic-Visions-Visitors/dp/0984223916

Dreams are given by a species made of dark matter.

They are so intelligent that they can know almost everything and thus predict the future quite well.

They can also control people and animals if they want but they don't do it often.

They may have given you that dreams and made your frog escape on purpose.

They like to do these kind of things to make people think because they want us to discover them

You can read more about it in my book "Dark Matter Orbs Are The Origin of Dreams", search it on amazon

Or my website Dark Matter Species

This book helped me out a ton: Inner Work - Robert Johnson

I too am a super heavy dreamer (I wake wanting to go back into my dreams) and the analysis that I get from my dreams after reading this book is outstanding.
