  • EXCLUSIVE 5 PANEL MARIJUANA DRUG TEST - The multiple test strips let you track your THC levels at 15 ng/mL, 50 ng/mL, 100 ng/mL, 200 ng/mL and 300 ng/mL. The higher the positive ng/mL level (ie 100-200-300 ng/mL), the longer it will take to get clean. The lower the positive ng/mL level (ie 15-50 ng/mL), the less time it will take to get clean. • EASY TO USE URINE TEST - This quick testing kit for home is a one step, easy to use, self testing device. Have you considered using a 0mg vape?

I've just released a short ebook on vaping and how to quit.

It's free at the moment, give it a quick read!

This is the US link but it's available across all Amazon sites 👌

For getting to sleep i listen to audiobooks on my mp3 player. I like it fantasy style, so at the moment i'm listening to eragon(don't laugh please ;) ). I did listen to all the harry potter books too - it is nice and not too deep, so it helps me going to sleep.

When it comes to reading, at the moment i read DEBT - The first 5000 years by david graeber and it's quite interesting.

I also enjoyed Dostoevsky very much. I can recommend those two storys. This would be notes from the underground and the gambler. (i just happen to find them is the same book an amazon)

To build on this, I did a bunch of research and it seems like the best fish oil (some research indicates, the only good fish oil due to most being super heated in processing) is fermented cod liver oil.

Sounds completely disgusting, and it would be except an ingenious company makes a version packed with cinnamon that goes down easy and doesn't taste like fish livers. I opt to eat a spoonful or two of coffee ice cream after taking it to further negate any aftertaste.

This is really good advice. Epsom salt baths are sooo healing. I use 3 or 4 cups in a bath and let it soak in for 90+ minutes (3 or 4 episodes of The Office haha). There's also a supplement I sometimes take called Calm that is really good for you. Beware magnesium can give you the runs pretty fast though. Magnesium isn't present in most foods and it's essential to healthy human function so it's important to include it in your routines.

You need to learn to cope with your natural emotions, thoughts, and desires without the aide of any substance. You're not addicted to weed, it's your emotional crutch. This book has helped me a lot. Give it a try. Personally, I find inspirational helpful words on every page of this book. First, you will learn that it is pointless to dwell on thoughts, emotions, or desires. Then, you will learn how to actually control yourself enough to not dwell on those things. That's all there is to it. You're not broken. You're not an addict. You're not a bad person. You simply were not taught self-discipline by your parents or society, and now you're dealing with the fallout of being an adult without an emotional foundation to stand on. It's up to you to build that foundation, or you can do the typical thing and medicate yourself with something legal.

How are you doing? It's been 2 months since I quit now and things are going great. Sometimes the anxiety pops its head back up but by meditating and using CBT it goes away in 10 ish minutes now.

This is what I said to another user just now.

"Yeah I've made it through. It was insanely grueling at the beginning but things are going well for me now.

CBT(https://www.amazon.com/Overcoming-Unwanted-Intrusive-Thoughts-Frightening/dp/1626254346) and Mindfulness meditation(through the headspace app) have helped me the most.

Hope you are doing well!"

I just bought a "headache hat" on Amazon that works really well for me. Basically a headband full of tiny ice packs. I just recently realized that cold/ice therapy works really well to curb my headaches. If you don't want to spend the 40$ just a ziplock bag with some ice cubes works pretty well too.

I found this book on addiction incredibly helpful. It's not about marijuana particularly but is still excellent. Very clear, concise, and absolutely no personal judgements or pressure - which I really appreciated.

This is my second attempt at quitting this month. The first time I lasted a couple weeks then I honestly think I was afraid of things getting better. Life was improving, I impulsed on a bag. I saw the difference after I resumed right where I left off. When I'm wrapped up in trees I'm in my cacoon. I'm less social, more hungry, more in my head blah blah you know the deal.

After 5 years of heavy trees, cigarettes, heavy alcohol, even fap I need a change. I doubted this subreddit existed, but you guys proved me wrong and I'm glad it does. We all need a support network. I think it will be hardest to cut out butts and booze, then again I tried nofap and could only make it six days. Try, try again.

I'm reading this, its really helpful. The dude from yourbrainonporn.com recommended this book.

I went from 475+ contacts on my cell phone down to 20. I am spending high quality time with my wife and kids. I am off social media. I am focussing on things that really resonate. I am happy and fulfilled. I am taking the time to research addiction. This book has been incredibly helpful https://www.amazon.com/Inside-Rehab-Surprising-Addiction-Treatment/product-reviews/0670025224

I can totally identify with "fairly hard core mood swings". At my worst, I am reduced to a sad pile of sobbing depression that can't even lift a fork to put food in my mouth. Just last week I tried to go bowling and all the lanes were full due to it being league night. I immediately turned despondent and went home to go to sleep because I couldn't deal with this disappointment.

My therapist has been very helpful in just being someone who will listen attentively without levying any judgement. Certainly, my wife is also able to do this but I like having someone off of which to bounce my feelings without feeling like I'm weighing her down emotionally.

My therapist approaches things from a holistic perspective which doesn't rely on pharmacological solutions. Rather, she encourages me to exercise and enjoy the benefits of mindful meditation and breathing techniques to help repair the chemical imbalances going on in my brain. It sounds sorta hokey but it really does work (at least it does for me).

At my therapist's suggestion, I'm also reading a book called Unstuck that uses similar tactics and I'm finding it extremely helpful in identifying ways to dig myself out of sudden depression without having to resort to pharmaceuticals.

Have you talked to her about this, and does she know about the struggles you came through in the past related to weed?

I would really suggest talking to her about it - I understand your desire to not forbid but maybe something could be done about it. Perhaps she could smoke in a specific room. You could also look into getting something like this, although it could be expensive for a larger room. Perhaps you could get her into vaping also, as that is less smelly. Another thing that may sound stupid, but I used to use to hide weed smoking use a long piece of tubing throw a window to send smoke out. This may sound stupid, but it really cuts down on smoke.

Overall I would recommend bringing the issue up to your fiance, if your gonna get married you need to be able to discuss things like this together. Be open with her, tell her you have a problem with it and you need some support. If you two are right for each other there will be a compromise believe me, if not, well its something better to know now...

And yeah, she probably doesn't. I didn't really have any problems when I would socially smoke either. It started up when the big bigs started coming in..

cheers I hope it goes well

I would recommend the Buddhist psychologist Jack Kornfield's book The Wise Heart if that's the case. It focuses on the practical, psychological effects of Buddhist teaching and provides a good framework for building a practice.

Someone else on here recommended this book and I quite enjoyed it. The reviews are compelling as well. If you have a kindle I can even loan it to you.

It took me about 60 days to see a very faint 2nd line on my home drug test. It's hard, but you're over halfway there already!

If you want to see some encouraging results, try a test kit like this one. It detects THC at three different levels, low medium and high. You probably are clean for the highest level already, so don't throw away everything you've fought so hard for.

That's the lamp I got; there is a review on Amazon which explains why you should NOT use the ion therapy part of this otherwise excellent lamp.

You can find this album on iTunes and if you want to give it a try, one of the tracks is the short version of yoga nidra. It's the one I've mostly done and is great. If you like it you can get the long version track, too; I think the other track on the album is some weird yoga music, I just have the two guided meditation tracks.

The best hangover cure is hangover prevention. So if being hungover tempts you to smoke do everything you can to avoid hangovers. I myself get terrible terrible hangovers. Before bed i usually throw up all the alcohol in my system(on purpose, i want that toxic poison out of my body). I Take an optimen multivitamin or 2 before bed and drink at least 2 water bottles. I chug it like its beer. Hangovers are cause from dehydration, and you have to prevent that before the problem occurs.

Some people swear by Pedialyte. They say its like gatorade on steroids. Its starting to get around colleges now as "the" hangover cure. I have not tried it yet so I can't knock it but have friends that use it.

Just a couple of quick tips to prevent hangovers so you don't get the urge to smoke. :)

A book that really helped me break out of this is Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now. Stick with it despite initial impressions and it has a very good chance of helping you as well.

And yes, I've been able to quit after heavy heavy use. You can PM me with ANY questions, vent sessions, whatever. Hit me up and I'll respond as soon as I can. (Should be pretty quick, but prob not immediately.)

Theses cheap af catnip filled mice I got on amazon. He’s obsessed. He bats them around and then brings them to me to throw sort of like a dog but also still cat like if that makes sense. Dogs bring the toy directly to you, my cat brings it close enough to me and then swipes it to get my attention so I have to walk around when we play.

Hey, you should read this book in the meantime, it's about CBT for things like social anxiety and panic attacks, and it's proven to actually help if you practice the techniques.

There was a study that took people with social anxiety and had them do a 9 week self directed online CBT course, and they found that afterwards they all had actual physical brain changes in the parts of their brains associated with fear, and had less anxiety. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/02/160202185552.htm

CBT has been shown to work better than medications, and especially in the long run, because you are learning workable skills and changing your brain in the process.

I wish you the best of luck!
