Man, I had my inventory organized all cute in my office/guest room/storage room for approximately a week until my SO needed to find something in the closet (where I hid all my shipping stuff and everything else that needed to be stored), pulled everything out and destroyed all my careful organization 😅 Sigh... it looked so great for a little while!

And, of course, the clothing rack I bought for that endeavor crapped out this past weekend; apparently I've loaded it up a liiiittle bit past its capacity, lol. That lasted less than two months—pro-tip, $17 is not enough to get something that can withstand a 100-plus-piece inventory. Who knew? But I just bought a new, sturdier one today, and I'm excited to re-re-organize everything! It feels so good to have everything accessible, in the same place, and ready to go at a moment's notice.

This is what it looked like at its best.

I have the Conair Defuzzer/Shaver. It's worked pretty well for me so far, but my biggest complaint is that the lint receptacle is so narrow, that the lint rarely filters into it, instead backing up and clogging the blades. It's easy enough to clear, but it's annoying if you're doing more than a couple sweaters at a time.

Thanks for asking about this though! I'm curious to see what others are using (brand, battery vs corded, etc).

I recommend checking eBay and Amazon, sometimes you can find some really great deals. For example, I just bought these for $4: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C7FWZSN

That works out to 4 cents per item and this size fits pretty much all tops (aside from bulky sweaters/hoodies), most dresses, most shorts and skirts and some jeans and pants. I lucked out and got 100 12x15 zipper bags for $9 awhile back but they're sold out and most other ones are $20+ for that many bags. If you keep checking back you might get lucky and snag them cheaper though, new listings pop up all the time on Amazon and eBay.

I have some of the adhesive bags but I hate them, the adhesive strip sticks to everything (including itself) and it's a pain to open and reseal if a buyer wants another measurement or if you want to slide a thank you note inside the bag or anything else. The zipper bags are thicker plastic and can be opened and resealed as many times as you want. Plus, I feel like buyers are way more likely to reuse them rather than tossing them in the garbage.

I love this light I use the warm light setting and clip it to my desk and take pictures on the floor. Best $10 (it’s $12 now) I ever spent!

I needed good, strong tape for some ceramics I sold (not on Posh), and this has been the best tape I have ever used.

I'm so glad that you shared this! Great idea. I turned around one of my curtains that has a white lining (it is held up by ring hooks with clips) and hung one of those large carbiners (like this https://www.amazon.com/FineGood-Carabiners-Extra-Large-Shopping-Accessories/dp/B073SV9W5D) over the rod. It works well for easily hooking a hanger through it is awkward if anyone comes over - I need to turn the curtain back around. A canvas like yours would be easy to store.

I’ve used this peel & stick paper on thick foam core. There are some great wood patterns that you can align to make an easy 4’x4’ piece. The marble takes a little more work to align as nicely if you need it to be wider than the roll.

I have had good luck with patterned poly mailers; I usually just stick my clothes in a sealable shirt bag and then pop it in the mailer. Haven’t had any issues with that system!

These folks here sell lots of cute mailers.

Hey hey! Here’s the one I currently have: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H1ROPT6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8zl9AbCGZ52X8

I will say I wish I had one that can model pants, but this one is cheap, lightweight, and fairly easy to dress, it’s pin-able so if clothing is too large I can pin into the mannequin to adjust the fit, I plan on replacing her eventually with one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074H97GYL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_rDl9AbVTSQW3W

Hang it in the sunshine?
I also use one of these in each plastic tub so I don't magnify any odor. The pleasant scent does not stay on the clothing. I use the actual refillable containers in the room itself.

Let me send you the link! Mine has its printer jam days but my fiancé can usually fix it pretty quickly for me. Since I’m not printing a shit ton (only 2-3 labels a day), it works for me! Whatever you do, just don’t go with the HP wireless Instant Ink... I’ve heard they lock you into a weird ink subscription and will make your printer stop working when you stop the subscription.

Mine I just print from an app on my phone! It’s great.

I use this light kit
It’s really great, someone had suggested it on here and I got it. I use three lights for bigger items and two light for smaller items. I personally think two lights are better than just one.
