54. KPC Pro Skateboard Complete, Ace

    Features:
  • HIGH QUALITY: KPC complete skateboards are strong, durable, and reliable boards. KPC Skateboards are very similar to the boards that Pro skateboarders are riding, but at a fraction of the price. This board is assembled with a 7-Ply Maple deck, heavy-duty aluminum trucks, urethane wheels, and precision bearings. This board rides great with a good mix of flex and stiffness.
  • SMOOTH RIDE: This complete skateboard comes with heavy-duty aluminum alloy trucks. The geometry of these trucks allows the user to adjust how much or how little the skateboard turns. High quality 52mm 99A high-rebound urethane wheels with precision speed ABEC 7 bearings make this board perfect for commuting, street skating, skate parks, bowls and ramps. Great for smooth and rough surfaces.
  • GRIPTAPE: Our griptape has an 80-grit level, which will provide you with great traction for your board. The enhanced grit helps provide support and gives your shoes a firm grip on the board at all times. This grip is the same quality that Pro skateboarders use!
  • NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED: Our skateboards come fully assembled and ready to ride straight out of the box! Assembly is not required, although tuning your board to personal specifications is encouraged. That means tightening or loosening the trucks to adjust how much the board will turn. Do not forget to customize your board by drawing on the griptape with paint markers or adding stickers to the bottom of the board.
  • PERFECT FOR ALL LEVEL OF SKATERS – Our skateboards are suited for any level of skater, whether you are a beginner or an expert. This board is specifically tailored for a first time rider or someone who has not been on a board in a while. With our boards, you get exceptional performance and quality at a competitive price. Hey, so I just have a quick question if anyone could help me out. I’m a college student that wanted to get a pennyboard to get from class to class and generally just ride around on, nothing special. I haven’t skated ever in my life before, other than the old RipStiks that were the fad back in the day (I know it doesn’t count lol). I ordered a cheap pennyboard on amazon and didn’t know that pennyboard was an actual company and every other “pennyboard” is “fake”. I’ve linked what I bought below, and just wanna know if it was a good decision on me to get, and if there is a massive negative stigma against “fake pennies”. Thanks!

My board

Something that was pretty cheap, but had some good reviews, nothing fancy.

I picked up everything off Amazon (other than the camera which I bought 2nd hand off Craigslist):

This is a solid buy for a complete beginner. I personally own this and I love it, but if they are not totally starting out and have no idea what they want, stick with the gift card because a skateboard is a really personal thing.

I would like to get this board to use for cruising around town.

I have no skateboarding experiance and I am not interested in learning tricks. I just want to use it to get from point A to point B. I like this one because it is in my price range and it seems pretty compact.

Do you think I should buy it?

Four month ago I bought a $25 kryptonics longboard from Walmart, my first skateboard, and now I need an upgrade. What do you think of this purchase?

The reason I chose a short board is because I'd like to learn how to skateboard and do tricks so having the option of putting on small wheels to take it to a park AND the option of putting on big wheels and cruise around town is important to me because I'll be using it to get to work.

Am I missing anything? Any advice welcome

You said you bought the cheapest DSLR so assuming you want a fairly low budget fisheye without comprising quality so I would recommenced the Opteka [6.5 mm fisheye.](http://www.amazon.com/Opteka-Aspherical-Fisheye-Removable-Digital/dp/B00KGIFOL6/ref=sr_1_4? .s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1449940742&sr=1-4&keywords=opteka+fisheye) I have personally owned this lens and can attest to its ability to shoot skateboarding, and also this thing is tank. I have smacked it clean off my camera body and it still is going strong. Its on sale right now for $100 off too.

Hey, when it works it works!

If you want to grab a lot of clips solo? I suggest investing in an octopus leg mini-tripod. Something like this for example.

You can get some really cool shots by attaching the fucker to a railing or something if grinding, or get it pretty much anywhere otherwise.

Also nice to just flip upside down, crook it about halfway, and what do you know, you immediately have a passable filmer grip to get low rolling shots of someone else!

When looking for one of these, the longer the legs, the better. It just means more versatility, but they're small enough to always sling in a bag side pocket or something.

I wanted a board just smaller (in length) than a normal sized skateboard, that had a nose and a tail, and was wider than an 8.5 for cruising in the city. I bought this linked complete for $60 and threw custom bearings and cruiser wheels on it. Still rides with as much control as a normal skateboard, yet faster and stoprocks aren't an issue.
