Its a Wacom EMR (it goes by the name "feel-it" under the driver name) digitizer. So, look for pens that work w/ that.
The Fujitsu Lifebook pen works very well, as does the wacom bamboo feel pen (though i don't recommend it due to the button being flush w/ the pen and the pen being prohibitively back heavy w/ the cap on.).
Personally i'd recommend the Lifebook pen. https://www.amazon.com/Fujitsu-Digitizer-replacement-Stylus-T5000/dp/B00791UTH2
Also, download Wacom's feel-it drivers since they come with settings to customize button output.
The pens that work on the Zbook x2 that I am aware of:
You need a Wacom EMR pen/Samsung S Pen
So you can either purchase one from one of the OEM's like
or try one of the S-pen's...Wacom used to sell Wacom Bamboo Feel pens/Wacom Stylus Feel Carbon (CS-300/400) but they have discontinued them and they are hard to find and ridiculously expensive when you do, some selling for as much as $250 which is just ridiculous.
I've bought from this site and they have a Toshiba Trupen (EMR pen) i've used w/ the Surface Pro 1 for $8.
so, for the stylus I use this one - https://www.amazon.com/Huawei-MatePen-Stylus/dp/B01GNL937A mainly because instead of using AAAA shitty batteries it's microusb rechargable. and it works fantastically
the Apple pencil is great not because of the pencil but because they have VERY fast tracking, the lack of lag is fantastic. however for 3d work (I do z-brush and maya work with a pen) the lack of side-buttons is a killer, (and the apple pencil is mostly only for ipads...)
also it's got the dumbest charging method ever.
