Something like these are worn around the neck yet also wireless and over ear... might be a place to start?

I love these headphones. Great battery life and Bluetooth connection. Sound is great. I've had them for two years and haven't had any problems. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E0GRRR4/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1465170408&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=sport+66+headphones

These are really good. Full disclosure, we did a partnership with them leading up to the Olympics, but I've used mine for the past year and a half and they're great

Or you could by sports headphones that last longer than a few days and sound half decent.

Here's the pair I have been running with for the past 6 or 7 months.

I usually run 4 -5 times a week. Every morning when I get home I clean off my headphones with a dampened sheet of toilet paper. They still work fine.

For these headphones bass response is, to my mind, weak as shit. But they should last you alot longer than gas station headphones.

I've had these for just over two years now. They work pretty great for me, pretty good sound, great battery life, and they're way more comfortable than ear buds IMO.

I use them for about 1-2 hours a day every day and only need to charge them once every two weeks or so, but YMMV if you're doing longer runs.

What are some of the best exercise-focused wireless headphones that AREN'T in-ear?

So far, these or these seem like the frontrunners. It's kind of hard to find non-in-ear wireless headphones like this since it seems like 90% of the market is saturated with in-ear varieties. My ideal price is less than $50.

I have these and I love them. They don't fall off or out, don't need readjusting, and the charge can last for days. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E0GRRR4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm literally drenched 20 minutes into a workout and I've had these for a few months with absolutely no problems. I lift and do cardio in them with no problems. Plus the battery life is insane, charge them every 3 or 4 weeks. Good sound quality too.

66 Audio BTS they are bluetooth and highly recommended. I have a pair and for 50$ through Amazon I don't think you can beat them.

I was researching the same thing recently, and I came away pretty disappointed by the market. It sounds like AirPods are the only things that will really tick all of the boxes we're after, but it's tough to justify spending that much money on something with only average sound quality.

I ended up buying these headphones on sale a while back as a compromise. They don't block any sound around you, and they sound about as good as EarPods (although with less overbearing bass). Battery life is absolutely awesome, and call quality is good. Only drawback is that they aren't as subtle as earbuds, but otherwise, I've been pretty happy.

I use these in the gym multiple times per week. They're great, no cables to deal with while lifting, and the sound quality is not bad. Highly recommended.

I just ordered these bad boys on Black Friday.

Obviously don't have direct experience but they're on sale and all the reviews I've read have been quite good , could be a good alternative if you're not a fan of in the ear headphones.

I have been using 66 Audio BTS+ Sport for last year and really enjoy them. I can't wear contacts, so these were one of the few I could wear comfortably with my glasses and sunglasses. My only complaint about them is if you are watching video, then there tends to be a delay between the video and sound. Since I use them for music while I run, this is not an issue for me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E0GRRR4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Any thoughts on this particular set? 66 Audio BTS+ Bluetooth Sports Headphone I searched 66 Audio BTS in the sub but nothing came up.

The reviews are plentiful and highly favorable, but there's not a lot of actual solid information about fit, sound quality, etc. It's not my usual style preference (I go for clip-ons) but Sony stopped making my old favorite so I'm thinking of giving these a try for casual wear (running, around town, and at the library doing homework; I have a real headset for gaming). I tend to have issues with larger or tighter headphones hurting my ears, and I've also never had a wireless set, so should be an adventure!

I'm not sure what affordable looks like to you, but I used these when I was running a lot because they would stay on my ears and they weren't so noise cancelling that I couldn't hear traffic etc.

I really liked them, but moved to earbuds as I wear glasses most of the time. The over the ear piece bugged me when I was wearing glasses.

Looks like they don't make the exact one anymore, but here is the closest I see from the same brand:

Before that I had these which were great until stolen:

Both sweatproof. Sometimes I wish I still had the on-ear instead of in-ear. There is probably a more modern version of the second link.

No se como estará el tema importación, pero no me canso de recomendar mis auriculares. 20hs de duración la batería, cómodos, Bluetooth, y muy lindo sonido.

Good battery life does not have to cost you a fortune. I use these headphones for the gym and have used them for complete work days + additional hours. They last well over 20 hours.
