I think that's it :)
I'm not sure I would recommend trying to put the camera further forward....it'll make it a lot more front-heavy which will make it harder on your arms to hold. It's actually better to try to get the camera on your shoulder and make all the gear as tight to your body as possible to reduce the weight on your arms.
I bought this cheap Andycine monitor off of Amazon and it works great as a viewfinder. The colour is slightly off but I calibrated it to be pretty close to the camera's colour. It works well enough to be able to see what I'm filming, and when it comes to setting exposure and colour I just look at the actual camera. A big reason I wanted a secondary monitor is because I also like to take the camera off the shoulder rig sometimes and hold it down low, so with this I can tilt the monitor up and see what I'm filming. I can hold the camera firmly against my chest, and pull focus on the barrel, while looking at the monitor like this.
This is what my rig looks like at the moment. I bought a v mount plate and a v mount battery to put on the back of the rails, but after seeing someone post about a plate that allows you to power your camera with sony NPF batteries, I'm considering switching to that instead. I ordered the sony NPF plate to test it out and if it works well I think I'm going to return my v-mount and accessories because it cost around $500 for all that. I'm also considering getting a cheap matte box, since I'd like to be able to stack filters, but I already bought a few filters to go on my DSLR lenses, and the cost of a matte box and one 4 x 5.6 filter will probably be at least like $1000.
I got one of these recently (Andycine A6): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077FNHBVF/
Colors aren't fantastic, but it gets the job done for framing and focusing. Not too big, not too small.
