I ended up purchasing these a couple of years back. Fantastic speakers and sound quality.
I have the AudioEngjne A2s. They are powered and sound pretty good. If you want Bluetooth and a built in DAC you can get the A2+ ($359 CAD, https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07MYV2527/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_FgwQDb2BEADA1).

These any good or better/worse than the R1280DB or R1850 or S2000DB?

What is your main turntable and system? What is your second system budget?
If you have a decent main system you are going to be disappointed in a cheap all in one since the speakers speakers are also cheap and poor quality, think $10 bluetooth speaker bad.
For a smaller turntable footprint than standard size, Audio-Technica AT-LP60X.
I don't recommend them for good sound quality, however if you must have small speakers, and they will sound better than all in one turntable speakers, Micca ON3 3-Inch Powered Bookshelf Speakers with Remote.
Better sub 4" mid bass driver small powered speakers:
4" mid bass driver powered speakers: Edifier R1280T or Edifier R1280DB.
