Yeah, I am kind of considering [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Company-MediaGate-GP-IR02BK-Windows-Ultimate/dp/B000W5GK5C/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2W8G4L3HJHKZS&coliid=I3BPVFYEKV858U) remote.

That's a good consideration. I guess I'm not the only one who's going to be using this thing.

Yeah, seems to be the biggest problem with touchscreen remotes in general. I also use XMBC remote for iphone, but sometimes it disconnects and won't reconnect. /:
Something like this, then? http://www.amazon.com/Noah-Company-MediaGate-GP-IR02BK-Ultimate/dp/B000W5GK5C/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1312847837&sr=8-4
Or, you could always get a mini wireless keyboard: http://www.amazon.com/Rii-Wireless-Keyboard-Touchpad-RT-MWK01/dp/B003UE52ME/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1312847837&sr=8-9
Just make sure whatever remote you pick out allows you to reconfigure the buttons. Otherwise, you may be stuck using it with a specific piece of software.
