this is what i want to get next along with a lot of weights off craigslist hopefully.. would be easy to pair with a bench for lat pulldown on either side
I need to stress beforehand that I've only read reviews of this, never used one myself.
When I was mapping out my home gym setup, I'd basically settled on a specific rack and this plate-loaded cable crossover machine. For the price, this was the best one I found. Excellent reviews across the board.
I ended up finding a combo half rack/smith machine that has the top crossover plus a high and low pulley attached for a solid price, and that's the only reason I didn't buy the above. I was moving at the time, so wasn't in any real rush to purchase, and then this Craigslist deal happened, so that's why I don't have a first-hand experience. But ya, everything I read, for the money, the Powerline crossover seemed like a perfect blend of pulleys for my needs, and sounds like yours too.
