Not trying to be oppositional, but I have 300W of PV panels feeding a Midnite Solar MPPT charge controller, charging two 6V deep cycle batteries rigged in series (186 ah,) and I also have a Cole-Hersee automatic battery isolator switch. My batteries stay charged all the time. The charge level normally drops to 90% overnight from using a respirator and a Fantastic fan, but is back to 100% by 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. Never had one problem with my BIS.
