Coleman has a 16 can -- might be a bit too small, I know they used to have a 24 can one that looked a bit nicer.

Outside dimensions: 11 1/8" tall, 11 1/2" wide, 7" deep. Inside has a plastic holder (which is removable) that is 8 1/2" tall, 11 1/2" wide, 6" deep.
The 6 inch width is probably the part that would make it a touch too small.
My wife and I will take 3 day trips often and we're basically sipping on a beer constantly half the day while camping, which, as you've said, kills the ice much quicker as we're dipping into the cooler every 20-30 minutes.
We haven't tried this yet but came up with the idea of getting one of these, or maybe something smaller and transferring a handful of ice and a 6 pack at a time to the smaller cooler to minimize the amount of times we open the main cooler. Feels like a solid plan, but wont be sure until we try it in practice.
