Not Bose, these Denons.

Have them & love them.

Here's a graph and here's an amazon link for all the phones:

Beats

Sennheiser

Denon

Beyerdynamic

Show me the spectral range of a 30$ headphone that compares. You can't. I own Sennheiser PX-50's and they don't compare to any of those. But yes, you are overpaying for Sennheiser. Now stop trolling, because you cannot top empirical evidence.

I personally really like my Denon headphones. The best I have owned.

They make a bit cheaper model, too.

Get the audiotechnica ath-m50. Wont regret it. >1. So first of all I'm normally pretty frugal, but now that I've been drinking qutie a bit I"m willing to splurge on headphones.

Right now all I have is an old pair of mrd Xb-300's, as far as I can tell they're not necessarily an audiophile choice even in the price range, I've looked at the buying guide and done some research and would like to hear your personal opinion on the headphones I'm stuck between. As a preface I'm a pretty hard bass head, EDM music and CoD video games, so here's the headphones I'm stuck between Denon 1100's, V-MODA crossfade M-80's, or the Sony MDR-XB600.

>So any input would be awesome, the faster the better, cause I'm drunk, once I'm sober I'll be questioning why I spent so much on headphones.

Edit: I have the money, I'm not strained for cash, I'm just frugal as fuck.

I got a pair of Denon AH-D1100's and I'm very happy with them. They were recommended by a fellow long time bassist too.

EDIT: they are at 199$ on amazon atm

I've never heard those ones. Only the $300 pair. Granted I heard them right out of the box instead of after the break-in period, they were quite lousy.

If i'm going to spend $200 on headphones, i'll prob go with Denon. Beats are made by Monster Cables....

I thought Denon discontinued them...????

But... http://www.amazon.com/Denon-AH-D1100-Advanced-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B0042ETXRQ

Now they're sub $100.

They're suppose to have plenty of bass with good quality and a fairly large soundstage. The Creative Aurvana Live! Headphones are a reshell of them.

It's nice to see them back and at a lower price than I've ever seen for new.

From my understand they're pretty close to DT 770s, but a lot of people who own both say the D1100 has a very unnatural sound to it; kind of synthetic feel to it.
