It could be a classic series '70s precision (at least the neck), the headstock adjustment is a giveaway for an "import" fender (made in mexico, japan, korea, or china). The string through body is usually only on MIA instruments. I believe that when fender uses hipshot tuners they're usually fender branded, not hipshot branded, but these are very similar to the style they use on MIM basses. I can't really see full binding on the neck either, that should be present on the '70s P and from what literature I can find I'm only seeing maple fretboards. Edit - nevermind on that classic series neck, the classic series had a walnut plug and heel truss adjust, the headstock adjustment and lack of binding really makes it look like a MIC jaguar neck/copy there off.
The rosewood neck with blocks but without binding was done on the jaguar basses.
I'm leaning towards a parts bass on this one. The headstock shape even looks a little fat to me.
