I suspect it's conceivable you could survive w/o the deoderant and the waterproof mitten cover.
For a poor mans lantern alternative (er..besides nothing), a ping pong ball with a slit in it, and then a keychain led light [e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Finware-Keychain-Flashlight-Batteries-Included/dp/B01GVJFBUW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1524629933&sr=8-3&keywords=keychain+led] inserted into it. Of course remove the chain and if you need to hang this "lantern" then use some bit of cord.
As others noted, that battery pack may have more juice (and more weight) than you need.
On the other hand, I would add a 2nd water bottle (with a total capacity of 1.5 to 2.0l) and
a 2.0l water storage bag so you can more easily do dry camping away from water.
I being a small headlamp that runs on a single AAA battery. I should metimea sail while travelling and it's nice to keep my phone safely away out of the ocean depths while using a light. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FTZ2FX0
I keep one tiny light in my bathroom kit. I use this when the room lighting isn't enough. Typically, for looking at my eye if something gets in there. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GVJFBUW
I used to travel with a GoPro, but found that I never really used it. I just use my phone. When scuba diving I just don't bother filming. It's nice to just be present in the moment.
I am tempted to pick it up for my keychain, A lot better then the thing I have now like this https://www.amazon.com/Finware-Keychain-Flashlight-Batteries-Included/dp/B01GVJFBUW/ref=zg_bs_3180301_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=E2QJENMKHWTM8REM5CSE even though I have a few of those left.
