I actually made two. I started with two masks from Amazon.

Cat

Rabbit

I cut the eyes of the cat mask to be a bit wider. My face is kind of small, and I wasn't able to see out of the original eyes. I used a dremel to widen them and then sanded the new holes down. This caused the original paint around the eyes to crack so I sanded the mask down and repainted it with quite a few layers of white acrylic paint. I drew the designs onto the cat mask and then used Ranger diamond pearlescent silver paint from hobby lobby to paint the designs onto the mask. After that I used crackle paint. Once it dried I got a big puffy makeup brush and lightly brushed on some gold/bronze eyeshadow I had lying around. After that I went over the designs again with the silver paint to make them stand out a little more. Drilled some holes in the mask and used thin jewelry glued onto the inside for the whiskers.

For the rabbit mask I pulled off the fluff and sanded off the glitter. Then I cut the ears to look similar to the original splicer masks and widened the eyes. I did a few coats of white acrylic paint. The rabbit mask was harder and took the longest for me because the designs were larger and looked more raised and prominent. Originally I used air dry clay, but that was a total bust... a crumbly, messy, awful bust. I ended up cutting the designs from thin craft foam and glued them on. They didn't sit flat so I used some of the clay to build them up a tad on the sides. Gold paint, crackle paint, and eyeshadow.
