It is an older system. We just bought the house and did a few things. One was replace the hot water tank. When they did that it blew alot of sediment into the filters. I had to replace them.
I have 2. One is just after the well tank, and the second one is jsut after the hot water heater. They are both the GE model which should be rated for 2-3 months. I just checked mine and they seem clear.
There could be sediment in other locations tho, that makes sense . I was thinking of converting to a pex system with a manifold. Some of the older pipes do look quite warn out.
