get some bristle pipe cleaners. soak your pipe completely submerged in rubbing alcohol or Heet anti-ice additve for gas tanks for a stronger alcohol. add a good amount of kosher salt, make it a slurry. shake it around in a ziplock bag and the resin will just fall out. use the bristle pipe cleaners, and if you go to home depot currently, you can buy a set of 4 angled picks that are awesome for cleaning. they're on sale at Home Depot right now for under $5.

add a set of bottle brushes and a few cans of keyboard cleaner, and you're set.

Here's a decent video on technique: https://youtu.be/hiq1GxP1Rwo

That's shielded cat6, so you can ignore a big chunk of it.

The guy skips over pulling the jacket off the inner pairs, but the thing where he pinches the wire between his thumb and a screw driver is a huge time saver. I personally use a small pick, like the one here but that's 'cause I usually have to get drywall mud out of junction boxes. A small screw driver works better than that big one he's using.

I don't know any professional cable installers that actually use those stripper tools, whether its on a crimper or a stand alone thing. They're tough to adjust for different brands of cable or they simply cut too deeply.

If you're going to do more than your house, get yourself some electricians scissors. Take a look at that video again, he uses some flush cutters to trim the end of the pairs off before inserting them into that bar thing (monoprice just calls them inserts) but you can just use scissors. I don't leave 3/16" or whatever the heck he said between the bar and the end of the jacket, you don't need to jam it on there as hard as you can though either.

Score the outer jacket with scissors, bend it back and forth to break it off, then use the scissors again to cut that string and the center spline out. Use your screw driver (or pick tool) to straighten each strand out. Get your strands in the right order, then trim a bit of the end off (the screwdriver and thumb method doesn't quite get the ends straight enough to insert into the insert) then put the strands into that insert, double check the order, and use your scissors to trim the excess off. Put the outer-part of the RJ-45 on and crimp it down.

If you're doing keystones a punch down stand is pretty helpful if you don't have an unfinished concrete floor to press down on. Don't try to punch down keystones on a finished wall, you'll leave marks on the wall. Don't try to punch down in your hand as you'll get a bad punch and the drop wont verify. You can use your boot toe, but then you have to lean over your knee and that gets tiring.
