I've found this and this to be helpful on the shelves where it's difficult to see what might be behind the things in front.

I tend to use a lot of rectangular Lock & Lock containers. They stack up easy on the other shelves.

You could put them all into one big neat box? Alternatively, you could do what I did: line them up behind each other into a fridge drawer like this one or this one.
