They're all more or less the same. Personally, I try not to spend more than $25-$30 on them. Look for one that has battery life that's at least twice as long as your commute or make sure you can charge it when you get to work.
I've been using the Scosche handlebar speaker, which I like, for a few years now. Here it is on Amazon. The battery only lasts a couple hours at a decent volume, but that's quite a bit longer than my commute.
I also ended up with one a lot like this, which is way cooler than I expected it to be. What I like most about the one I have, and what makes this one a little different from what I have, is that the light can be popped off and replaced with a second speaker for true stereo sound. It sounds kind of stupid at first, but I've been pretty happy with it overall. I could do without the voice notifications of "low battery" and so on, but it's a decent little unit. The power bank function is a nice bonus.
A few of my friends use the Buckshot. Those things are pretty sweet, too.
