If I was you I would try the Levi 508s. It fits like a a 514 in the seat and tapers down to a 511 fit below the knee.

Also, FYI, the 508 used to be called 521 I believe. It should be it should be the same fit though.
I had the same issue! I had to ditch the skinnies, and went for the 508. Much more room around the thighs, but still getting the good slim fit. These are the tapered kind seen here
