I know the exact laptop for you! It is of course, this Lenovo ThinkPad P50 Mobile Workstation which has immense performance power and superb durability. It's performance is spear headed by it's powerful Intel i7-6700HQ processor that has a nice 6M Cache and 2.6GHz base frequency but can automatically run at- 3.5GHz on turbo boost. This machine also has a wonderful 32 GB RAM which is perfect for just about any tasks you will be taking on. It has a great storage with a fast 500GB SSD + 2TB HDD. It has a great screen quality, NVIDIA Quadro M1000M 2GB graphics in case you meet a few applications that need some video processing power etc. Apart from performance, this laptop is the definition of 'solidly built'..It has a very firm chassis, terrific keyboard and of course, a very good battery life. It is not waterproof but you can get a waterproof keyboard skin like this, that will protect the keyboard from water and dust --(the keyboard slots is actually the most susceptible part of a laptop when we think about water spillage.
