Not sure what kind of bug hands you have, but if they're pincer-style hands (like a crab claw), you might try the Logitech MX vertical. It should fit inside your claw reasonably well; I'm sure it's difficult using a flatter mouse when you don't have any fingers. Best of luck!

No, like this. Think a mouse, but a handshake grip.

ERGONOMICS/Easing Wrist Strain - - - Purchase Advice Request
I am a software engineer by profession and experience wrist and forearm pain. I have identified my forearm orientation as a cause of strain (parallel to the table vs. the more natural perpendicular orientation, as if one were holding a ball).
I am deciding between these two Logitech mice:
I've not used either, but I've been able to hold each one in a store. The MX Ergo felt a bit more comfortable in my hand, but I am concerned about adjusting to the trackball/forgoing optical. The MX Vertical seems to be specifically designed for the problem I am describing, but again, I was partial to the feel of the MX Ergo.
Has anyone (with wrist strain) used both? Can you offer any thoughts?
I started getting wrist pains from using a mouse about 2 years ago. I tried a lot of things, those wrist braces, stretches, a trackball mouse, a wrist pad for my mousepad, none of it worked well... But I kept ignoring it and playing thru the pain and eventually I couldn't use a mouse for more than 5 minutes without being in pain.
This all changes when I discovered vertical mice. You hold them in a natural ergonomic position and within a week of using mine I had virtually no pain. I'd recommend looking into getting one if you're developing wrist issues, cus I doubt it's just gonna go away. Best of luck.
