I've only replaced the locks with the Skelton keys (not as secure as modern locks) but I have seen these types of lock with modern keys, but they seem more commercial. Best bet is to take one off of a door (even a closet) and bring it to a local locksmith (or you can take the gamble at Home Depot) and see what they have that is compatible.

It's way too expensive, but I'd wager there is a consumer priced product available. Also I saw a few separate lock cylinders for the Mortise locks during the search. Good luck!
